The WDR camera first exposes the subject in the bright area at the appropriate shutter speed, and then in the dark area at the appropriate shutter speed. After getting drunk, the two images are recombined on one image with a digital signal processing chip to expand the dynamic range that may be processed, so that objects in the bright and dark areas can be clearly seen.
