From the perspective of the entire industry chain, CMOS is a money-making fine molecule industry, with a leading gross profit margin of 45%-50%, while optical lenses have the strongest profitability, with a leading gross profit margin of nearly 70% for large vertical light. According to the statistics of Yole, a well-known French market research company, in 2018, South Korea's LGINNOTEK and Semco ranked first in the global camera module industry with a market share of 12%, Foxconn's acquisition of Sharp ranked second with an 11% market share, and Chinese local companies Sunshine Optics and OFILM ranked third with a market share of about 9%.
From the perspective of domestic competition, in 2018, OFILM ranked first in China with 478 million camera modules, Sun Optics ranked second in China with 423 million cameras, and Qiuti Technology ranked third in China with only 264 million, far behind the top two. The top 15 camera module manufacturers in China also include 12 camera module manufacturers, including Xinli, Helitai, Shengtai, Imagelink, Zhonghequn, Foxconn, Samsung, Lianhe Imaging, Xinchenguang, Xinfeng Shijia, Jinkang, and Sijichun. The top three camera module manufacturers have similar camera module deliveries.
