Recently, the feedback camera module heating causes the picture to be distorted and red, the conventional temperature of the camera module is minus 20 to 70 degrees, when the device is not conducive to heat dissipation, the temperature rises, the picture will be red, turn off the camera for a few minutes and it will return to normal, the following is a few suggestions summarized by Zhongcai Optoelectronics to improve the heating of the camera module:
1. The PCB design makes the holes larger, the power line and ground wire circuit are thickened, and the digital analog line is separated as much as possible.
2. The layout of the components must be reasonable, and the components with high heat dissipation should be avoided together.
3. The initialization settings of the camera module must be selected correctly, and FW optimization can reduce the frame rate.
4. The power supply should choose low power consumption, and choose reasonably according to the requirements.
5. Generally, the thickness of the inner layer of copper in the PCB is 1oz, and the surface layer is electroplated 1oz.
6. Try to use single-sided ornaments on the board, and the other side of the exposed copper should be pasted with a heat sink to dissipate heat.
7. The tape of the camera module can fix the camera module on the PCB/FPC board, and the heat is transmitted by conduction, so the tape should be thermally conductive tape as much as possible, which is easy to transmit heat.
